Originally founded as an internal consultancy within a leading Swedish investment fund, we have extensive experience of working with investors and financial services providers, as well as public and private companies within the technology, media and telecoms space.
Using our global network of contacts and regular in-country interactions with officials and regulators, we help clients overcome the obstacles that are part of doing business in challenging markets.
Our Founders
Mark Goddard
Partner | Director
Mark has 15 years’ experience of business intelligence, integrity due diligence investigations and political risk analysis. Before setting up SecureValue, he worked on business intelligence and government relations for the Swedish investment fund Kinnevik AB. Prior to that he worked for the UK police, AXA PPP healthcare, the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) and G3 Good Governance group. With particular expertise in Russia and the former Soviet Union, as well as African and Asian markets, he is able to assist on political risk, integrity due diligence investigations, compliance, corporate governance advisory, security and government relations projects.
Mark holds an MBA from Brighton University, is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and holds a BA in Russian from the University of Exeter. He is a fluent Russian speaker.
William Lee

William has almost 15 years’ experience of business intelligence, integrity due diligence investigations and macroeconomic risk analysis. Before setting up SecureValue, he worked on business intelligence and government relations for the Swedish investment fund Kinnevik AB. Prior to that he worked for the Economist Intelligence Unit and Control Risks. With particular expertise in Latin American, North American and European markets, he is able to assist on macro-political risk, integrity due diligence, financial crime compliance and government relations.
William holds an MSC from University College London (UCL) in Globalisation and Latin American Development, is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), and holds a BA in Hispanic Studies from the University of Bristol. He is a fluent Spanish speaker.

Anders Kronborg
Senior Advisor
Anders is the CFO/Executive Vice President (Global Finance & Business Services) at LEO Pharma A/S. Prior to that he was the Chief Operating Officer of Kinnevik AB (2012-2015) working across the group’s portfolio. During that time he was a member of the board of directors of Black Earth Farming Ltd., G3 Ltd, Metro International S.A. and Vireo Energy AB. He carried out extensive pre IPO work in the e-commerce sector with market-leading companies such as Zalando.
Prior to Kinnevik, Anders held various CFO positions in the media sector (Metro International, TV2 Denmark, Berlingske Media and DR) after working for Danish Ministry of Finance.
He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Copenhagen.
